We just saw quite an action packed hand that saw Elizabeth Medina double up and Ron West get crippled. They were three handed with Bryan Hyden on a flop of [9s 7s Kh].  It was checked to Medina, who fired out 500,000, leaving herself about the same amount behind. West moved all in for 1.795 million total, and Hyden tanked for about a minute before open folding King-Queen. Medina quickly made the call, and saw she was in great shape.

West: [Js 10s]

Medina: [Ks 8s]

West’s flush draw was dominated, and he was drawing to a queen or an eight. The turn brought the [10c], which gave West a couple more outs. The river brought the [Jh], and both Medina and West though that West won the hand with two pair. In fact, Medina had rivered a straight, and she secured the big pot.

After the hand, Hyden lamented that had he made the call, he would have busted both players, and taken a massive chip lead with five to go. As it is now, we are still seven handed!
