Just a couple of hands later, there was another big hand that saw Matthew Witjas bust, Thomas Jordan boost his stack, and Eugene Castro make a very impressive fold. The action started with Castro bumping it up to 75,000. Next to act, Witjas moved all in for his final 665,000. It folded around to Jordan in the small blind, who didn’t take very long to simply announce “call.” Back to Castro now, he thought it over for about a minute before announcing “fold” and opening up [Qd][Qc].

It was a great fold by Castro, who would have been dominated with his big pair. The board ran down jack high, and Jordan scooped a big pot, while Castro let out a deserved sigh of relief.
