For the second time at this Spring Classic, the chip leader to start the final table of a major tournament was the first player eliminated. Edwin Tekmar became the short stack after doubling up Jason Kim and Daniel Pinto. After that, he shoved all in under the gun. Amit Sehgal made the call, and Alan Myerson shoved all in next to act. Sehgal made the call for almost all his chips after a few moments of deliberation.

Tekmar: [7h][7d]

Myerson: [Qh][Qc]

Sehgal: [Ac][Kc]

The flop brought plenty of action, coming down [8c][6c][3d].  Sehgal was looking for an ace, king, or club, and he got it on the [2c] turn. The meaningless river was the [Jc], and Sehgal scooped the massive pot to become our new chip leader, while Tekmar and Myerson hit the payout desk.
