James Dowdy and Eddie Pyatetsky just tangled in a huge pot that saw a pot of over five million pushed to Dowdy. After Dowdy raises preflop and Pyatetsky called, the flop came down [7d][6d][9d].  Dowdy fired out 500,000, and Pyatetsky called to see the [5h] come on the turn. Dowdy then bet out one million, and after about 90 seconds in the tank, Pyatetsky moved all in. Dowdy called all in for less than a million more, but he didn’t look thrilled about it.

Pyatetsky: [7c][7h]
Dowdy: [10d][3s]

Just what you were expecting right? Pyatetsky held the lead with a set, but he still had some outs to dodge. The [8h] came on the river, and Pyatetsky thought he had won the hand, or at least chopped it, but the river gave Dowdy a winning straight. The chips were counted down, and Dowdy builds up a huge stack of over six million, while Pyatetsky is left with just 400,000.
