It has been an action packed final table for Ron West. Twice now he has gotten the last of his chips in holding a dominating hand, and both times the dealer ran out a chopped pot. On the hand after the second chop, however, he got his full double up. West got his last money in the middle holding [Ad][Kd], and he was up against [Qs][Qc].

West couldn’t have hit the flop much better without pairing up, as it came down [4d][3c][2d]. West could now win with a diamond or a five as well, and the turn was the ultimate action card: [Qd]. This gave West the flush, but his opponent a set. Needing to dodge the board pairing, the river came the [9s], giving West the double up to over 3.65 million.
