We just saw quite the hand unfold where Hyo Joo scored a double knockout of two players who made the final table of Event #2 $200,000 Guaranteed. Action started with Matt Salbserg raising under the gun to 80,000. Next to act, Joo made it 200,000 to go, and a few spots over, Karle four bet to 500,000! It folded around to Roy Peters, who took a peak at his cards, then immediately slid his final 480,000 into the middle! Joo called as well, and there was over 1.5 million in the middle going to the flop!
That flop came down [Kd][7h][3d]. Both players checked, and the same happened on the [4h] turn. The river came the [3c], but there would be no checking this time. Joo quietly announced all in, and Karle thought for about 15 seconds before saying “alright I call.”
Joo flipped over [7h][7s] for a full house, and it bested the pocket tens of Karle, and the pocket aces of Peters, giving Joo a huge boost up to nearly four million with 23 players left!
