You won’t want to miss this one guys. The first big guarantee of the Liz Flint Fall Poker Classic, Event #6 $200,000 Guaranteed, will be kicking off tomorrow afternoon! The buy-in for this event is just $140 for 7,000 in chips, and everyone has an optional $80 add-on for an extra 10,000 in chips. Players will have two chances to qualify, once at 1 PM and again at 5:30 PM. This tournament will have two qualifying heats everyday from Thursday-Sunday, but there’s a bit of a twist on this tournament.
On Thursday, the final 10% of players will be moving on to Monday, when the finals will be starting at 3 PM. On Friday, the same percentage of players will be making the money, but only 9% will be moving on to Day 2. The pattern continues on Saturday, with only 8% moving on to Day 2, and again on Sunday, where only the top 7% move on. If you are able to qualify twice, we will give you $2,000 cash right on the spot! We experimented with this format in our Grand Slam of Poker, and the eventual winner, Massoud Eskandari, just so happened to end with the chip lead on Sunday’s flight.
