Sometimes, you just know a card is coming before it is dealt.

In one of the first hands of the final table, Victor Kruglov doubled up through Jon Peck when Kruglov’s pocket sixes flopped a set to crack Peck’s aces. The two players exchanged playful verbal spars over the next half hour before the two got involved once again.

And once again, Peck was in great shape, holding [Qd][Qs] to the [9d][9h] of Kruglov.  The flop came down [5c][5s][10d], and the [6h] came on the turn. Kruglov could win with a nine and a nine only, and the dealer slammed down the [9s] on the river.

Peck shot up out of his chair, but didn’t say anything at first, likely stunned from the whole experience. After a few moments, the understandably frustrated Peck let out a few words of disgust before wishing the table luck, and heading to the payout desk. Meanwhile, Kruglov extends his chip lead, holding over 10 million in chips.
