Tomorrow we will be kicking off the first of three big guarantee tournaments here at The Grand Slam of Poker, as tomorrow will be the first of four qualifying days. The buy-in for the event is $140, and each player will have an optional $80 add-on. However, there is a bit of a wrinkle with this tournament.
On each qualifying day, the final 10% of players will be making the money, but things change a bit after that depending on the day. Tomorrow, all of those players will move on to Day 2, but on Friday, only the final 9% will. That number drops to the final 8% on Saturday, and lastly, the final 7% on Sunday. All of those players will come back Monday for Day 2, which will kick off at 3 PM.
